Prof K. VijayRaghavan, the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India said

Hon’ble Minister of Science & Technology Dr. Harsh Vardhan said

“I am delighted to inaugurate  the two-day DBT-PrakashLab Orientation Workshop on the use of Foldscope at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, (ICGEB), New Delhi on 16th-17th April 2018. This initiative of the Department of Biotechnology will have a huge impact on science education in the country. The Foldscope is a powerful tool that will increase curiosity in science and inculcate the research culture in children right from school, thus nurturing future scientists of the country”.
